Amy's Park - (10 minute drive from Villa Maria) is a 500-acre preserve of ponds, streams, marshes and forest. There is more than 5 miles of trails and multiple lookout spots. We have yet to try out to kayak these ponds but have hiked it multiple times with the kids in tow. More Info

Up Yonda Farm - (3 minutes from Villa Maria) is an outdoor recreation and education center that offers nature talks and events. You can take a short up-hill hike to a nice view of Lake George. Definitely stop by at their closed-in butterfly garden. More Info

Adirondack Extreme - (5 minute drive from Villa Maria) it´s a fun zip line adventure course that is rated as one of the best Aerial adventure parks in the country. More Info 518-494-7200

Natural Stone Bridge and Caves - (25 minutes from Villa Maria) interesting and a fun, less than a mile walk along the natural stone step trail, see incredible potholes and of curse surface caves or descend into lighted caves. The largest marble cave entrance in the east. There is a Rock Shop, climb a Boulder Wall or dig Dino bones out of their sandbox. More Info
